Esophageal and Anorectal Manometry

Unisensor manufactures manometry-catheters for passage measurements of individual sections of the gastrointestinal tract and for  motility measurement. Catheters with multi-point measurements allow for the diagnostic findings of the conduction of contractions and pressure waves.

Sphincter of Oddi-Manometry (ERC-Manometry)

Measurement catheters from Unisensor register the pressure relationship in the sphincter of Oddi and aids diagnosis for any possible defective motility of the sphincter of Oddi.

High-Resolution-Manometry (HRM)
In the relatively new HRM method, the multi-point catheters from Unisensor measure pressure in up to 40 places simultaneously which makes absolute precise measurement and quick data evaluation possible.

 

Impedance-pH-Measurement (MII-pH)

Gastro esophageal Reflux was investigated using HRM as well as impedance - pH - measurement in a university study of stomach bypass operations and their effects. Pressure and pH sensor catheters from Unisensor were used.


Unisensor manufactures two basic types of micro-sensors for gastro enterological measurement of pressure or pH values:

  • Approved and certified standard versions, manufactured in large-scale production and suitable for one-time use.
  • Customer specific, to the last detail, special versions, manufactured in small scale and suitable for sterilization and multiple use.
 

Urology

Urodynamic
Trans-urethral and trans-anal measurement catheters from Unisensor determine the induced/generated pressure values, using their precise pressure sensors during the filling and emptying of the bladder. Precise urodynamic measurements are the basis for a dependable incontinence diagnosis.

 

Muscular-compartment syndrome

Compartment Syndrome Measuring System (CPMS)
Dependable pressure measurement in diagnosing as well as in intra-operative or post-operative monitoring is made possible by the use of a probe led into the muscle by a pressure sensor developed by Unisensor. The sub-fascial pressure measurement is critical for the successful treatment of the affected muscle  compartment.
